I am a software engineer (K.S. Manoj), with a deep love for Carnatic music. I’ve earlier composed the music for Nan Sivanagirean.
Im a singer-songwriter, musician and music director.
Skilled in Carnatic music, Western classical and Hindustani music.
I started learning Classical music at he age of 5. My guru was Shri.GN Desikan who was disciple of Shri. Sangeetha Kalanidhi Madurai Mani Iyer.
I got trained in carnatic music (vocal) for around 12 years. I was part of a college band and regularly participated in IIT Madras Fest Saaraang.Later I got trained in Keyboard, Music Production and Western music under celebrated Guitarist Mr.Sadanandham who has closely worked with Legendry composer Mr. Ilayaraja. Then I have composed for various Jingles and Short Films for "Nalaya Iyakkunar".Now Iam a budding Music Composer in Tamil Film Industry.
Composed Music for couple of Films (Naan Sivanagiren & Pathayiram Kodi(Starring Vivek)).
Film "kaka Para Para"- Yet to be released in this year (a song sung by Actor. Vijay Sethupathi)).
Won State level Vocal credits - Music Competition conducted by Vikadan Magazine during the launch of "Chutti Vikadan".
Hindu News Paper acknowledged for the film work - Naan Sivanagiren.
Worked with many renowned Musicians like Haricharan, Anuradha Sriram, Gana Bala, Saindhavi, Ranjith, Benny Dayal, Malathy Lakshman etc.
